Based in Davenport, Garden Help is a bespoke gardening service for Stockport West (including Davenport, Bramhall and Cheadle) and neighbouring areas of East Cheshire. From lawn mowing and tidy-ups to specialist pruning, garden planning and advice, I can help.
- Regular Maintenance
- Lawn Mowing
- Planting Plans
For regular garden maintenance in the Davenport, Bramhall, Cheadle and Cheadle Hulme areas (weekly or fortnightly routines during the main season March-November) I charge:
- £25.00 per two hour session
For one-off gardening jobs or specialist garden advice sessions I charge:
- from…£17.00 per hour
Lawn treatments, weed control applications, plant feeds, stakes and supports will, naturally, incur extra costs.
I’m happy to plant up your purchases of new plants from the garden centre or I can purchase new plants on your behalf from reputable nurseries, on the understanding that plants are living things and can’t be 100% guaranteed to thrive even when planted in seemingly ideal conditions.
Large gardens, major garden tidy-ups, planting plans and restorations are by quotation. There’s no obligation, so why not give me a call to see if I can help you with your project?
Have a quick question about your plants or garden? Email email@example.com with your query and if I can’t solve your problem myself I’ll put it out to my gardening expert friends and colleagues.
With the increasing pressures on our natural world it’s more important than ever that our gardens should provide a haven for wildlife, whilst still looking good for us too. Since graduating in animal and plant ecology over thirty years ago I’ve maintained a life-long interest in natural history and I’m keen to embrace green gardening as far as possible in order to protect fragile garden ecosystems.
I’m currently working on several projects in my own garden to attract more birds, bugs and beneficial insects, including the planting of a bird-friendly hedge and construction of a wildlife pond. Keep watching the blog for updates.
If you’d like advice on how you can attract more wildlife to your garden, just give me a call – I can help.
